Americans Wins The Battle This Week Bush Protects Marriage and South Dakota Protects Life Kernersville, NC – Conservative Republican Nathan Tabor applauded the stand that President Bush and the South Dakota legislature have taken this week. “I am excited about the advances the conservative movement has made this week. It is rare politicians will take a stand on what they campaign on. This is why I am running for office. I just don’t want to be right on the issues, I want to be a fighter and protector of our Judeo-Christian principles. It comes from understanding the principles of a Biblical worldview,” said Tabor. “ President Bush is showing great courage in standing up to the extreme left whose radical agenda includes allowing homosexuals to wed,” said Tabor. “His decision to support a Constitutional Amendment to protect traditional marriage shows that he is willing to stand up for what is right and to a campaign promise. Wouldn’t it be nice if we had this type of Constitutional Amendment proposed on the state level also? The Federal government shouldn’t have to deal with this issue. However, until our state government addresses this issue I believe we have to push for it on the Federal level.” Nathan Tabor has been an outspoken supporter of marriage being between one man and one woman. He is being supported in his position by Dr. Jerry Falwell, Dr. Pat Robertson, Mike Farris, Beverly LaHaye, Sandy Rios and nearly 90 other Pastors in North Carolina. “ The South Dakota Legislature should be commended for having the courage to recognize that abortion violates the fundamental rights of the unborn,” said Nathan Tabor. “In recognizing that the South Dakota Bill of Rights apply to the unborn in that state, they are correctly recognizing that the unborn should have the same rights as everybody else.” Nathan Tabor is a strong supporter of the right to life. Recognizing that government has a duty to protect the unborn, Tabor has pledged to work for the passage of a Human Life Amendment in Congress. The leading pro-life candidate in the Republican primary in NC-05, he is endorsed by Roger M. Wiles, the former head of North Carolina Right to Life and the Rev. Scott D. Johnson, past President of North Carolina Lutherans for Life. “ I believe it’s time that Republicans draw the line in the sand. Tolerance is eroding the moral fiber of America. It is time we take a stand and say morals, values, ethics and integrity do matter,” said Tabor For more information about Nathan Tabor and his campaign, those interested are encouraged to call (336) 993-0929 or visit www.taborforcongress.com. |
