Tabor Calls On Courts to Reaffirm Individual Right to
Keep and Bear Arms

Promises Unwavering Support for 2nd Amendment Rights

Kernersville, NC – Today, Republican Congressional Candidate Nathan Tabor criticized the U.S. Supreme Court’s refusal to affirm the right of individuals to keep and bear arms when the Court declined to hear an appeal from the liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that held that the 2nd Amendment gave militias not individuals the right to keep and bear arms.

“This was a good opportunity for the Supreme Court to affirm the clear right of individuals to keep and bear arms that is so clearly contained in the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution,” said Tabor. “The Court should not allow radically liberal decisions like this 9th Circuit decision to stand. Decisions like this one only further the efforts of radical liberals to further erode our fundamental right to keep and carry firearms.”

Tabor also promised to continue his unwavering support of the 2nd Amendment in Congress.

“Decisions like this one stand as clear proof of the importance of electing principled defenders of the 2nd Amendment to Congress,” continued Tabor.

“In Congress, I will not only maintain a perfect record voting to protect the 2nd Amendment, but I will also continue to work with gun owners in North Carolina and across the country to pass legislation that reaffirms and further protects their constitutional rights.”

Nathan Tabor is a conservative small businessman from Kernersville. He is a life member of the National Rifle Association and member of Grass Roots North Carolina.
