Jesus
Is The Reason
The Christmas Story
According to Luke 2:4-14
The Birth of Jesus
And it came to pass in those days, there went out a decree from Caesar
Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. And Joseph also went
up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into the city of David
which is called Bethlehem. He went with his wife Mary who was great
with Child.
While they were there days passed and Mary delivered, and she she brought
forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid
him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
God's Angels
tell the good news. And there were shepherds in the
country, abiding in the field, keeping watch over
their flock by night. Lo, The angel of the Lord came
upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round
about them and they were afraid.
The Angel said unto them, Fear not; for behold I bring you good tidings
of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born
this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; You shall find the baby wrapped
in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with
the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying "Glory
to God in the highest, and on earth Peace, good will toward men."
The Word of God brought the shepherds to the stable in Bethlehem.
There they found Joseph, Mary and the Child who was to be called
Jesus. They had had faith in the Word of the Lord. Its truth had
been shown to them, and God's Word could be trusted. This baby, who
was our Lord and Saviour, had a very very humble birth. Often true
greatness comes from such simple beginnings.
As the shepherds returned to their flocks they told many people what
they had seen and heard. They gave out the good news about this baby
that would grow up and be a wonderful man which would help everyone
that believed on Him.
Jesus Is The Reason For the Season.
Imagine the Heavens opening up and a host of angels descending in
a light so radiant against the sky. It was a sight so spectacular
for the eyes to behold. What a glorious time that was to rejoice
and sing praises and tell the world about the birth of our Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ. HE IS WORTHY!

THE LIGHTER SIDE . . .
Many of you have met my father,
Byran, or as everyone calls him, Buddy. My dad
is an amazing person and has a way with people.
He is my dad, my best friend and also COO of Revival
Soy. Our company had our Christmas party on Saturday
night. The Call Center decided to write and perform
a song for him. The name of the song -- “Buddy
Got Run Over By A Hummer.” It was sang to the tune
of “Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer.” I hope
this brings a smile to your face. It is all meant
in humor and fun.
Buddy got run over by a Hummer,
Walking back from Dudley’s Christmas Eve,
You can say there’s no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Suzanne, we believe.
He’d been drinking Just Peachy,
And we’d begged him to go slow,
But Ole Buddy wouldn’t listen,
And he stumbled out the door into the snow.
(Just
Peachy is a non-alcoholic Revival Soy shake - Byran
only drinks the best!)
When they found him in the morning,
At the scene of the attack . . .
He had soy nuts in his pocket,
And big ole’ Hummer tread marks on his back.
Buddy got run over by a Hummer,
Walkin’ home from Dudley’s Christmas Eve,
You can say there’s no such thing as Santa,
But Byron Luke and Nathan now believe.
Now we’re all so worried about Aaron,
He’s not taking this too well . . .
He’s not even playin’ Halo,
And a record breaking year won’t ring his bell.
It’s not Christmas without Buddy,
All Revival’s dressed in black,
And we just can’t help but wonder,
Should we open up his ham, or send it back?
(Send it back!)
Buddy got run over by a Hummer,
Walkin’ home from Dudley’s Christmas Eve;
You may say there’s no such thing as Santa,
But Lea, Tod and Dr. Branley now believe.
Now the goose is on the table,
And a pie made out of soy;
But Ole’ Buddy he’s in heaven,
Still out campaigning for his boy.
I’ve warned all my friends and neighbors . . .
“You had better watch your back!”
They should never give a license,
To a hunter with an arrow in his pack.
Buddy got run over by a Hummer,
Walkin’ home from Dudley’s Christmas Eve,
You can say there’s no such thing as Santa,
But now we at Revival all believe.
