Recent Letter to North Carolina Healthcare Providers

I am currently running for the 5th Congressional District seat as a conservative, common-sense Republican. I am the VP, Sales and Marketing of Physicians Pharmaceuticals, Incorporated, maker of Revival Soy.

As you know our nationís healthcare system is under a tremendous strain. Burdensome federal regulations (most recently HIPPA), the current tort system and high malpractice insurance have put many fine doctors out of business because they cannot afford the cost.

I understand the problems facing our healthcare system and believe we must do something about it. Three of my top priorities, if elected, would be to work for the elimination of unnecessary regulations affecting our industry; the comprehensive reform of our nationís tort system and providing the necessary funds for research.

Unlike many politicians running for public office, I already have a strong understanding of the issues facing the medical profession. Revival Soy is a successful company providing consumers with clinically tested medical grade soy products, conducting many clinical research trials. I have worked with physicians across the country, seeing first hand the effects that regulations and medical malpractice have placed on physicians and the healthcare providers.

Now more than ever we need elected officials who will not be afraid to fight for regulatory and tort reform. We need politicians in Washington who will take on the trial lawyers and government bureaucrats and get the changes we need. You can count on me to work for you in Congress. This is why I am asking you to support my candidacy for Congress.

The healthcare industry is under siege by greedy trial lawyers who see a malpractice award as nothing more than a paycheck. Too many of you are faced with astronomical insurance premiums as a result. This will unfortunately continue until our political leaders have the courage to enact commonsense tort reform. Unsurprisingly, trial lawyers have fought tort reform efforts tooth and nail. I believe we can change this and enact the necessary reforms by sending a principled leader like myself to Congress.

In Congress, my knowledge and experience of the healthcare industry will enable me to immediately take the lead on these important issues and help get reforms we so desperately need. Perhaps more importantly, I have the courage to stand up to the trial lawyers and special interests who are dead set against any type of reform.

More than ever, we need allies working for us in Congress. The issues facing the healthcare industry are too important to ignore. Letís take a step towards enacting the reforms we need by sending a principled leader to Washington.

Sincerely,

Nathan Tabor
