Richard Tabor
Tabor grew up in the projects
Nothing was handed to him and everything had to be earned.
From an early age,
Richard learned what it meant to struggle, to work hard and to stand up not only for himself, but for his neighbors.
Those experiences didn’t break him they built him.
Richard answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Army, later serving 10 years in the National Guard,
including a deployment to Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division, defending the freedoms that make the American Dream possible.
After his military service, Richard continued serving at home as a New Jersey State Police Trooper,
dedicating his career to protecting communities and upholding the rule of law.
Richard’s life has been defined by service:
- Served the United States in the U.S. Army and National Guard
- Deployed to Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division
- Served New Jersey as a State Police Trooper
- Served New Jersey’s youth through community leadership
- Now ready to serve in the United States Senate
- Registered over 2,000 Republicans in urban areas
- Worked with Scott Pressler
Guided by his faith and a calling from God to serve others beyond the badge and the uniform,
Richard founded New Life Direction an initiative focused on empowering local youth, providing enriching programs
and rebuilding trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
Through mentorship, leadership development and positive engagement, Richard's work with New Life Direction helps young people believe in themselves,
achieve their potential and inspire others to do the same.
Now, Richard Tabor is running for the United States Senate to give New Jersey a fighter who understands real life,
real pain and real responsibility because New Jersey doesn’t need another career politician.
New Jersey doesn’t need another career politician and is ready to serve the people..
